I am not your typical CFO in that I consider myself more of an entreprenuer than an accountant. My experience is not from a Fortune 500 company; instead I have spent my career working with or for small to mid-sized companies on Cape Cod and Virginia. CFO services do not have to be complicated or expensive - they simply provide you with the financial and management expertise not available within your team at present and not needed on a full-time basis. As a result of my years of experience working with companies of varying sizes coupled with the technical ability gained from my MBA, I have honed my skills to provide fractional CFO and controller services uniquely suited for both Cape Cod and Virginia businesses. Quickbooks in conjuction w/Excel and other third party applications provide more than enough functionality to manage companies with dozens of employees and tens of millions of dollars of revenue. No need for 100 page business plans or software costing tens of thousands of dollars - let me show you how easy it can be. - Cash Flow Management- Cash is king and the effective management of your cash is the difference between success and failure. I have helped companies on Cape Cod to use QuickBooks to have an accurate live cash balance on a daily basis and to create annual cash budgets.
- Training/oversight of A/R and A/P personnel - I will work with your in-house personnel to ensure they are using the A/R and A/P features of Quickbooks properly. All toward ensuring you are minimzing your write-offs and maximizing the timeliness of your collections.
- Financial Reporting - Annual Budgeting, Fixed/Variable Cost Analysis, Ratio Analysis, Sales/Expense Trend Analysis and Profitability Analysis are a small sampling of the analysis capable from Quickbooks. As a result of my many years working with various report writers and spreadsheet programs, like Excel, I have helped my clients extract and manipulate the data from Quickbooks to provide meaningful information not easily available within the program.
